Statkraft, a Norwegian state-owned energy company, is proposing 9 turbines up to 200m (650ft) tall on Forestry Commission land above Dunoon — generating around 65MW for export, on a site already rejected once before.

Statkraft, a Norwegian state-owned energy company, is proposing 9 turbines up to 200m (650ft) tall on Forestry Commission land above Dunoon — generating around 65MW for export, on a site already rejected once before.
A second proposal for 13 more 200m turbines on the adjacent Black Craig Ridge would bring the total to 22 turbines grouped above Dunoon — visible from Bute, Inverclyde and the Kyles of Bute National Scenic Area.
